Privacy policy

This is a translation for convenience; the German version is legally binding.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. When you visit, technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page, referrer, browser) is processed to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

3. Contact form, email and phone

If you contact me, I process your details (e.g. name, email, phone, event details, company, message) to handle your enquiry and prepare a quote, including which page and, if applicable, which ad brought you here (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). Data is deleted once no longer needed, subject to statutory retention periods.

4. Fonts

All fonts are hosted locally. No connection to Google or other font providers is made.

4a. Analytics (Umami)

For anonymous usage statistics I use Umami (Umami Cloud). Umami sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses or other personal data; only aggregated data such as pages, referrers, browser, device type, country and clicks on the enquiry, phone and WhatsApp buttons is recorded (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

5. Google reviews

The reviews shown are copied from my public Google Business Profile and embedded directly; nothing is loaded from Google. Only when you click “All reviews on Google” are you taken to Google, where Google’s privacy policy applies.

6. SoundCloud

On the “DJ sets” page, the SoundCloud player (SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, Berlin) only loads after you click “Play”. Only then is data transmitted to SoundCloud (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG).

7. WhatsApp

The WhatsApp links let you contact me via WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited). WhatsApp only opens when you click; WhatsApp/Meta’s privacy policy applies. I process your messages to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

8. Google Ads conversion tracking

If you consent in the cookie notice, I use Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Limited) to measure whether enquiries or calls come from my ads. Google sets cookies and processes e.g. your IP address; transfers to the USA are possible. Without consent no Google scripts are loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and may withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Brandenburg data protection commissioner. Just email kontakt@potsdam-dj.de.
